| The consequences of the AIDS scourge on lives of
ordinary Rwandans and the development efforts are far reaching. The
Government of Rwanda is aware of this threat and is determined to fight
this killer disease.
The National AIDS Control Commission is the body
charged with coordination of all national initiatives aimed at the fight
against HIV/AIDS.
It is also responsible for the preparation and follows
up of the implementation of the National Framework for the fight against
HIV/AIDS 2002- 2006.
The
preparation of this framework is a product of concerted efforts of
different stakeholders from the public and private sectors, communities,
civil societies, coordination structures and bilateral and multilateral
partners. |
